How do I know which size to buy?

We always recommend using our size guide to find the right size for your child, especially when purchasing a Happy Nappy™ product. Age ranges are provided as a general guide, but measurements should be the main consideration when choosing a Happy Nappy™. For the most accurate fit, measure your baby while they are lying flat, and avoid doing so immediately after a feed. Measure around their tummy, across the belly button, and at the fullest part of their thigh. When the nappy is worn, you should be able to comfortably fit a finger around the edges of the seal, and there should be no red marks.

A complete size guide for all products is available on of each page on our website.

How do I care for my products?

To ensure products remain in good condition, we always recommend hand washing in cool water and drying them away from direct sunlight, unless otherwise stated on the care label. However, we understand that soiled nappies may occasionally require machine washing. In such cases, please wash at 30°C using non-biological detergent. Please note, frequent machine washing may affect the longevity of the product

What do I use underneath a Happy Nappy™?

The Happy Nappy™ reliably protects against leaks in the pool without the need for an additional under-nappy. However, we recommend using a Silver Lining Nappy Wrap with the Happy Nappy™ to make changing and cleaning easier in the event of an accident. Some swim schools do require a double-nappy system, and if so, our under-nappies should be worn underneath. If you prefer, a disposable nappy will also fit under the Happy Nappy™.

The Happy Nappy Duo™ is recognised by Australian swim schools as a double-nappy system and does not require any additional nappy to be worn underneath.

What is the difference between the Happy Nappy™ and the Happy Nappy Duo™?

The Happy Nappy Duo™ is the only swim nappy with a silver lining that kills germs from faeces within the nappy. This silver layer gives the Happy Nappy Duo™ the double-nappy status required by most swim schools, meaning there is no need to buy or use an additional under-nappy.

The Happy Nappy™, on the other hand, does not feature this silver ion technology and is a single-layer swim nappy. If your child's swim school requires it, a nappy wrap will need to be worn underneath.

Both the Happy Nappy™ and Happy Nappy Duo™ provide reliable leak protection without the need for an additional under-nappy, unless required by your swim school.

My baby has outgrown the baby swimming products. What do I buy next?

Our product range extends beyond baby swimming, offering options for babies, children, and even adults who may need incontinence support in the pool.

If you're looking to transition from the Happy Nappy™ range, check out our Jammers collection. These provide the same faecal leak protection as the Happy Nappy™, with sizes available from age 2 to adult.

For babies who have outgrown our baby wetsuits, consider the UV Sun & Sea Suit suitable for use in swimming pools. If you're moving on from the Baby Warm In One, our Thermaswim range may be the perfect next step.

Please note, wetsuits for older children do not feature Happy Nappy™ technology, so if incontinence support is needed, it must be purchased separately.

Does the Happy Nappy™ hold in urine?

Items in the Happy Nappy™ range and Splash Jammers are not waterproof and will not hold in urine; they are designed to contain solids only. No swimming nappy, whether disposable or reusable, is made to hold in urine. We recommend using a regular nappy for the journey to the pool and changing into the swim nappy just before entering the water.

What is UPF 50+?

UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) is a rating that indicates how much of the sun's harmful rays can pass through fabric. Clothing with a UPF50+ rating blocks 97% of the sun's harmful rays, providing excellent protection.

What's the difference between a Life Vest and a Swim Vest?

A life vest is a buoyancy device designed to keep a person afloat with their head above water, even if the wearer is unconscious. Its flotation is concentrated around the front of the vest. In contrast, a swim vest is not intended as a life-saving device. It provides less buoyancy than a life vest, with floats surrounding the core of the body, helping the wearer maintain a natural swimming position. The wearer must paddle and kick to stay afloat.
